Pool Deck & Patio Coating

Pool Deck & Patio Coating for Central Florida Homes

A cool, slip-resistant surface that stays comfortable underfoot and resists the sun, chlorine, and afternoon storms.

The short version

What you're getting

A Central Florida pool deck lives outdoors in the worst conditions concrete can face: direct sun all day, splashing chlorinated water, and daily thunderstorms in the summer. Bare or painted concrete gets slick when wet, cracks, and bakes hot enough to burn bare feet. A textured coating system solves all three at once.

We apply a decorative, slip-resistant finish that grips when it is wet, holds a lighter color to stay cooler than dark bare concrete, and seals the surface against pool chemicals and rain. It is a different job than a garage floor, so we tune the texture and topcoat for a walkable, barefoot-friendly deck.

The four-layer system

  1. 1

    Surface prep and repair

We clean and profile the deck, then repair cracks and chips so the coating bonds to sound concrete.

  2. 2

    Bonding base coat

A base layer keys into the profiled concrete and seals it against pool water and moisture from below.

  3. 3

    Textured broadcast

We build in a slip-resistant texture, which is the point of a pool deck, so it grips even soaking wet.

  4. 4

    UV-stable sealer

A UV-stable top coat resists fading and chlorine, keeping the color and grip through Florida summers.

Why it lasts

Built for real Central Florida use

Slip-resistant when wet

The textured finish is designed for bare, wet feet around a pool.

Cooler underfoot

Lighter color blends absorb less heat than dark bare concrete in the afternoon sun.

Chlorine and UV resistant

Sealed against pool chemicals and built to resist fading in constant sun.

Hides tired concrete

Covers stains, patchwork, and discoloration on an aging lanai or patio.

How the install works

A single-day, four-layer install. Walk on it in 24 hours, drive on it in 72.

Diamond grind the slab

We mechanically profile the concrete so the coating bonds for good. This is the step cheap installs skip.

Repair and base coat

We patch cracks and pitting, then lay a fast-curing polyurea base that keys deep into the concrete.

Broadcast the flake

We broadcast your chosen vinyl flake blend to refusal, then scrape back to a clean, even texture.

Polyaspartic top coat

A UV-stable clear top coat seals it all in. Walk on it in 24 hours, park on it in about 72.

Lighter color blends absorb less heat than dark or bare concrete, so the deck is more comfortable underfoot in the afternoon sun. No surface is completely cool in direct Florida sun.
In most cases, yes. We repair cracks and spalling during prep. Badly failing concrete is assessed during the free estimate so we can be honest about what will last.
